Description: We'll cover the nine weight positions and basic moves for hips, upper body, and arms.

Description: A discussion of how to prepare for going to an event and what to take, what to do at an event, how to comport yourself at court, and how to deal with a feast. In other words, how to become one of those strange and wonderful folk without making a fool of yourself!
11:15 AM to 12:00 PM - Comedia: Itailan Comedy Theatre (Johannes von Narrenstein)
Description: In addition to teaching about comedia, Johannes has offered to work with people after the class to teach and play to be preformed durring this event.

1:30 PM to 2:15 PM "What to do with a Veil" (Lady Edyth Miller)

Description: Demonstrations of the many ways to wear veils and headwraps for a variety of periods and event situations.
Details: No fee or participation limits.

1:30 PM to 2:15 PM Brass Hat 101 (THL Jennet of Lincoln)*

Description: How to tell whether you are conversing with a court baron or a king--and what to call him once you figure it out!

2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Beginner Drop Spindle / Spinning Time ($3 for Kit) (THL Liesl von Metten)

Description: $3 for kit. Sit-and-Spin for those that already know

2:30 PM to 3:15 PM Heraldry for Heralds (THL Tobias Alan MacKenzie)

3:15 PM to 4:00 PM - Hoods: Your Go-To Accessory (Lady Edyth Miller)

Description: An overview of medieval hoods for both men and women, with a focus on 14th and 15th century styles. Participants will also receive construction tips and patterns for most of the styles discussed.
Details: No participation limit, an optional donation of $2 is requested for the handouts.

3:15 PM to 4:00 PM - Personas (Baroness Audrey Adelicia of Canterbury)*

Description: How to approach name research, different basic sources, and basics of addressing other and titles and so
on.
